Shadows

As I walked throught the shadows, the gloom that sets in,
And darkness surrounds me, the shadows of sin,
Im searching for truth, the wisedom I need,
To brighten my life, the light from within.

The darkness descends,
Shadows, creeping, distend,
As I try to pretend,
That my life is'nt flowing,
Down the right path,
The darkness is gathering,
The shadows do grasp,
And I can feel,
The evil and wrath,
The shadows are watching,
On this I depend.
