I hear a noise,
Rap, rap, rap,
Abrupt and coy.

Waking from my dreamless sleep,
The knocking at my door,
Heralding departures, ways,
The passing of the days.

Tap, tap, tap,
Please go away,
Rap, rap, rap,
But its time to pay.

Laying there, stareing ahead,
Fearful, and full of dread,
Knowing the heartache, that’s coming here,
Destroying the love, and sending fear.

Hearing the cries, and the lament,
Emotional, sighs, hearts, hurt full descent,
At my loved ones departure and absence,
