Lightning streaked, ripping the sky.
Dark Clouds rolled, thundering by.
Swirling winds, halted, my cry.
As I travelled, towards my future.
Invisable hands, seemed to impede, my journey.
Pushing me further from my prey.
Dragging me back, to my dismay.
As I travelled, towards my future.
Battling, fighting, nature's forces,
Whirling ,twisting, blades do slay.
Cutting, Hacking, shadows, gorses.
All the things, that block my way.
Slashing, rain did lash my face,
My eyes were stinging, red and sore,
As I made my, laborous way, towards him,
Heightened, emotions, running raw.
Hark.. My Lord, we will meet together,
Fate will deal a helping hand,
Magnetic, forces pull together,
